The Murmuration series began with my fascination with the golden hills of California. From a distance, all the grasses look the same. But, taking a closer looks reveals their infinite colors, patterns and movements. When the wind browsers, the grasses fill the air with their murmurs.

I live in Fremont, California. During the day, I work as a software engineer. In the evenings, I explore with my camera. With the purchase of my first digital camera 10 years, I became passionate about photography. I am fascinated by wading in creeks, walking in the woods and peering into the grasses. Together, Andrea Satin and I, have published five photo books with companion poems: Foxfire, Treelined ReverieUrban Woods, Silver Rain and Mercurial
